1. Photos and Images
The app reads only images you select from photos, albums, or a file picker. Original files and filenames may be retained as recent-image copies within the app, and original metadata, including EXIF data such as shooting information, may remain. Recent images are managed using limits of 12 images and 96 MiB. Cropping, rotation, and conversion to four colors are performed on your phone or tablet.
2. ESL Connections and Image Transfers
The app processes Bluetooth device addresses, models, profiles, firmware, and connection status to discover and connect to compatible ESLs. When you request a transfer, the app sends the converted image pixels to the selected ESL over Bluetooth. The original photo file and its metadata are not sent to the ESL.
3. Task Records and Diagnostics
The app may store information identifying the target of a task, timestamps, progress, results, and errors within the app or record them in Android system diagnostic logs. The app has no feature that automatically uploads photos, device information, or diagnostic logs to a developer server, and it contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
4. Required Permissions
The app uses the Nearby devices permission for Bluetooth discovery and connections. On Android 10 and 11, BLE discovery may require location permission and location settings to be enabled, but the app does not read GPS location. For photos, the app accesses only items selected through the system picker and does not request access to your entire photo library. Notifications and the connected-device foreground service are used for transfers you start and to show their progress.
5. Retention and Deletion
You can press and hold a recent-image thumbnail to delete that copy from the app. The image currently being edited and separately saved drafts are distinct from the recent-image copies you delete. You can delete app-internal data by clearing the app's data in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Deleting recent images does not delete original photos on your phone, content already stored or displayed on an ESL, or Android Bluetooth pairing information.
6. External Services
The app itself has no account registration, cloud storage, or advertising features. Operating system services, such as the system photo picker, and external services you choose are subject to their providers' policies.
7. Inquiries and Changes
For inquiries about privacy in the app, contact tdkim@j-com.co.kr.
If the way the app handles information changes, both the in-app notice and the public privacy policy will be updated.
